No. 274 & No. 275 - arriving mail art "Otto von Bismarck" from Erich Sündermann (Austria) - two more little drawing showing Bismarck in the mountains together with a monster. Thank you very much. 
No. 273 - arriving mail art "Bismarck Bahnhof" from Heike Hofstede (Germany) - Heike has used a map with a railway station from Hannover named after Bismarck and collaged two little frames with parts of a Bismarck portrait to it. Thank you very much. 
No. 271 & No. 272 - arriving mail art "abermalbismarckwiederum" & "Wer will Waffen?" from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - two more collages from Heinz, one of them a critical one about a Santa Claus who is distributing arms as christmas gifts. Thank you very much.
No. 270 - arriving mail art "Lotz of Bismarck" from Peter Dowker (Canada) - Peter refers in a very funny way to several mail art collages of Heinz W. Lotz and did a word pun on his surname. He collaged 12 Bismarck portraits to a card board. Backsides he uses some of the artistamps I have sent to him. Thank you very much. 
No. 269 - arriving mail art "Mail Art Tree - Hommage to Otto von Bismarck" from Roberto Formigoni (Italy) - again an over and over decorated envelope full of colour and ideas. Inside lots of stuff (see my other blog) but as well the modified "conceptual pot" by Takako Saito. The pot has become a colourfull tansformation into a christmas tree, with lots of images and drawing from former mail art correspondence of each other. Thank you very much.
No. 268 - arriving mail art "Bismarck Schlachtschiff" from Angela Behrendt (Germany) - it is the first conceptual pot by Takako Saito (which can be seen here: http://bismarck-mail-art.blogspot.com/2009/09/no-138-arriving-mail-art-from-takako.html) which came back to me. Here a really funny inpretation because Angela worked out a little boat; inside Takako and Bismarck are sitting close together. The envelope which shows a t-shirt can be regarded as puzzle piece to the mail art I got from Wolfgang Skodd some days ago (see here: http://bismarck-mail-art.blogspot.com/2009/11/no-254-arriving-mail-art-otto-von.html) Thank you very much. 
No. 267 - arriving mail art from Robert Znajomski (Poland) - a decorated envelope with an image of Bismarck and a little Bismarck drawing on it. Inside a christmas card, an artprint, a little red painted card with a helmet on it and an old newspaper illustration about a shadow game you can make with your hands - the result looks like a Bismarck portrait. No. 265 - arriving mail art "The Rise of Bismarkism" from Darrell U. Black (Germany) - a big sized envelope sent as registred letter with a colourful drawing of a Bismarck portrait inside. Beisde a flyer and some inforamation of the artist's career. Darrel is an american artist who lives in Germany.Thank you very much.
No. 263 & No. 264 - arriving mail art "Musik für das Bismarck Museum" & "Hommage an Joseph Beuys: 1 a Gräte, ungerbaten (Bismarckhering)" from Angela Behrendt (Germany) - two more sending from Angela, the laminated one shows some christmas musicians the other one is a stiched fish skeleton after a work from Joseph Beuys. In both she used some artistamp, one is the famous stitched blue bismarckius. Thank you very much.

No. 260 - arriving mail art "Otto von Bismarck auf Kneipp Kur" from Uli Grohmann (Germany) - Uli has modified a painting with a collaged head of Bismarck. Thank you very much.
No. 259 - arriving mail art from Kommissar Hjuler (Germany) - another bizarre assemblage arrived - worked out inside a selfmade wooden box - a photo of Bismarck in the background is surounded by different food as there were a fixed sausage, some nailed pralines on his had, on his shoulder you find some already melted cheese which is also nailed, his body is made out of a sandwich, inside the box there are some candies, chocolate, nuts and some spices all around. I ask myself the question, whether all this stuff can be still seen in 2011? Thank you very much.
No. 257 & No. 258 - arriving mail art "Bismarck's after dinner speach" and an artistbook from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - today two or we can say several works arrived, but in two sendings. The first is a tiny little postcard (I wonder that I did not have to pay extra taxe) with Bimarck at Dinner with lots of fishes on his plates around. The other sending was inside an envelope and it is an over and over collaged old booklet from an industrial worker - here I put just few images. All in all there are 27 collages inside, full of fun, some refering as well to my research I did once about amulets. Thank you very much. 
No. 256 - arriving mail art "Kommissar Otto Eduard Leopold von Bismarck - Schönhausen. Föderer der Zivilehe" from Kommissar Hjuler (Germany) - one of the biggest and definitely the heaviest postcard I ever got - the postman came with a smile on his face and handed it to me this morning. 32 x 42 cm in size, about 1.6 Kilo in weight. It is a thick wooden board with a big sized photograph of a Bismarck portait, surrounded by plastic foam and an old pencil stick. It looks like Bismarck has gone through a snowstorm. Below a nailed board with the title of the work. The ouvre reminds me a bit to typical Renaissance portaits - well done. Thank you very much.
