No. 829 - arriving mail art from Viola Rollins (USA) - Viola has sent a colourfull painted and almost 3-dimensional collage with Bismarck, a ship, waves and seamen. Astonishingly the envelope arrived without naming the street and the correct name of the city. Thank you very much
No. 771 - arriving mail art "Der Held - Das ist nicht Bismarck" from Wolfgang P. Brunner (Germany) - a parcel arrived to me with a little assemblage inside on card board, a real hot water bag on which you can see a beard. Inside he puts some news paper articles concerning his art works. Thank you very much. 
No. 764 - arriving mail art "Feldgrau" from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - sorry I forgot to post this one in the last post. It is a big sized envelope with an almost 3-dimensional helmet assemblage inside and Bismarck as a pizza baker. Thank you very much.
No. 699 - arriving mail art from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - two pink cards he did: one is titled "don't think pink" the other one is a little assemblage and is titled "dem Kaiser klingelt es in den Ohren" (the bells are ringing inside the emperor's ears). Wires are coming out ot the ears of the emperor Wilhelm II. on each you an see a little portrait of Bismarck. Thank you very much.

No. 603 - arriving mail art from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - Heinz has sent me a little garbage can which looks like the real german one and normally made by a manufacuturer called Otto. Inside he put lots of little collages of heads and fishes. Thank you very much for this garbage.
No. 589 & No. 590 - arriving mail art "Ottoball Fingerspiel" from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - what a gorgeous idea; Heinz sent me game which is called kick the Bismarck, the ball inside the plastic bag is collaged with a Bismarck portrait. The other card is a reflection on a mail art I got from Angela Behrendt. Thank you very much. 
No. 574 - arriving mail art "Players welcome" from Anonymous (Germany) - a little package without any valid postage stamp ( I think it has been sent from Heinz too) with a sticker on it after a stitching from Angela Behrendt, she sent in for an other mail art call. Inside the box there is a playmobil figure with a collaged Bismarck face and a helmet on his head. Thank you very much.

No. 532 - arriving mail art "Die gute alte staubige Zeit" from Josef Karl (Germany) - Josef used a canvas frame but the backside of it for his assemblage - behind all the dust you can see several stuff like a polaroid of the artist during a performance (call for Bissmark), an old passport, letter fragment etc. Josef has sent me a photo before he has sent it, without all the dust around. Thank you very much. 
No. 473 & No. 474 - arriving mail art from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - two more sendings from Heinz. The first is a postcard - an "Ottomodification" of a card with a doodle I sent out to Angela Behrendt some time ago. It turned into a real Otto Mail Art. The other one is a package with an assemblage inside an old metallic cigarette box which seemed to be given by emperor Wilhelm. Inside collages and assemblages: Bismarck together with empress Elisabeth; in the other compartment you can see an old medal from 1949/50 - a carnival medal from Darmstadt.Inside the metal box also a little taped package. No. 438 - arriving mail art "Otto - solange der Vorrat reicht" from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - a funny package arrived to me today, it is a kind of assemblage made out of a candy box which was refilled with new candies(?). The box, the inlay as well as the candies were painted with red colour. Thank you very much. 
No. 259 - arriving mail art from Kommissar Hjuler (Germany) - another bizarre assemblage arrived - worked out inside a selfmade wooden box - a photo of Bismarck in the background is surounded by different food as there were a fixed sausage, some nailed pralines on his had, on his shoulder you find some already melted cheese which is also nailed, his body is made out of a sandwich, inside the box there are some candies, chocolate, nuts and some spices all around. I ask myself the question, whether all this stuff can be still seen in 2011? Thank you very much.
No. 256 - arriving mail art "Kommissar Otto Eduard Leopold von Bismarck - Schönhausen. Föderer der Zivilehe" from Kommissar Hjuler (Germany) - one of the biggest and definitely the heaviest postcard I ever got - the postman came with a smile on his face and handed it to me this morning. 32 x 42 cm in size, about 1.6 Kilo in weight. It is a thick wooden board with a big sized photograph of a Bismarck portait, surrounded by plastic foam and an old pencil stick. It looks like Bismarck has gone through a snowstorm. Below a nailed board with the title of the work. The ouvre reminds me a bit to typical Renaissance portaits - well done. Thank you very much.
