... new research project about the painter C. W. Allers ...

this ink drawing I bought recently in an auction and it brought me to a new research concerning Otto von Bismarck and the artist Christian Wilhelm Allers, who became famous with his Bismarck Portraits, he is the one who popularized the image of this politician more than any other.
Exhibition will take place at the same location where the Mail Art Exhibition took place in March 2013
here a fantastic drawing by C. W. Allers, which he has been drawing inside a booklet in Shanghai the 27th April in 1898, during his long journey around the world. This item will be seen in this upcoming exhibition.
